This global company is the leading manufacturer independent provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft. With tailored maintenance programs and state-of-the-art repair methods, it ensures the unbroken reliability and availability of its customers’ fleets. They are an internationally licensed maintenance, production and development organization with over 750 clients.

The Challenge

In 2011 the company recognised their need for people development and leadership development within their Shannon operation. They created a training proposal and invited a number of companies to tender for. They chose LEAP as their provider.

The Solution

• In 2012 LEAP designed, developed and delivered a comprehensive and highly interactive development programme for the CEO and senior management team (8 participants in total) that incorporated both classroom training and on-the-job mentoring ensuring learning was actively applied. 6 facilitated workshops were delivered focusing on such topics as leadership, strategic planning, managing people, communication skills and other related topics.  10 mentoring sessions were scheduled between workshops and then post programme delivery to maintain momentum.
• In 2013, LEAP designed, developed and is in the process of delivering a leadership development programme for lower-level managers with 9 facilitated workshops focusing on self-awareness and relationship management, producing high performance teams, communication, managing change and other relevant topics.

The Impact
