Don CullinaneDon Cullinane, Training Facilitator & Mentor

Cullinane & Co CorkDon has worked in financial services in London (Citibank and Barclays de Zoete Wedd), hotels, finance (Intercontinental Hotel Group), publishing (Octopus Publishing Group plc.) and was formerly Chief Executive of the Beacon Travel Group. He has personally supervised the acquisition, growth and disposal of several business units during his tenure. In 2005 he was appointed to the board of directors of Cork Airport Authority and re-appointed in 2009 and has been chairman of several board sub-committees. In 2009 he joined the highly reputable UK based Business and Executive Coaching firm, Ology as executive director in Ireland. As part of Ology Business Coaching, he has coached over 50 individual SME owner/managers and individuals within larger organisations. As a certified commercial mediator he works with firms and their legal teams to reduce the costs and stress of resolving disputes. Don is also Chief Financial Officer of Airtaxback Ltd –a web based tax recovery business trading in Ireland and UK.

 

Seamus MurphySeamus Murphy, Enterprise Management Resource

Seamus is an accomplished management professional with in excess of 30 years of experience at management level. He spent the late eighties and early nineties as a General Manager of a large food distribution organisation and well known manufacturing facility in Taghmon, Co. Wexford. In this role, he managed a significant change in the sales and distribution model while being the first plant in the group to achieve the necessary hygiene accreditation. In the late nineties he spent four years in an engineering business where he developed strong links with Enterprise Ireland, the County Council network, the EPA and the TEEU.

In 2000, he became Enterprise Manager of what is now the Wexford Local Development and built up considerable experience working with potential start-ups and early stage development companies applying for start-up assistance or grant aid. The last ten years has been spend as a Director of one of Ireland’s largest mechanical contracting companies with bases in Wexford , Dublin, Belfast and London. In more recent years his role was Managing Director of the London Office and the UK business, where he spent 4 days per week.

Seamus has a BA in General Management and a Post Graduate Diploma (Fetac level 9) in International Selling, he holds a qualification in training at distinction level and he brings management knowledge and experience, training, mentoring , recruitment , marketing and export expertise that adds greatly to the strength of the company. In the last 30 years, there are few who have encountered and experienced as much in their work experience as Seamus has and there are few challenges that he has not encountered in that period. This combination of excellent training and education married to real life experience makes him a valuable asset.

 

Kilian DuignanKilian Duignan, Enterprise Management Resource

Kilian is an experience management professional who has married his commercial experience of managing SME’s in the private sector with excellent communication skills to design and develop effective training interventions. He has trained and mentored Start-ups and established SME’s for County Enterprise Boards, Local Development Partnerships, Skillnet companies and worked with private enterprise to develop growth strategies, business planning, trouble-shooting and marketing plans. He has expertise in in the field of accessing grant aid for SME’s and start-ups and is an approved mentor with Carlow CEB , Carlow County Development Partnership, Wexford CEB, Wexford Local Development and Kilkenny CEB.
